What we collect, and why

Who is responsible?

SkiAvo provides this service. Read the legal operator identity and contact information, available without signing in or sending an email. Privacy contact: hello@skiavo.com.

Plans

Resorts, ski dates, display currency, any passes you own, and each traveler's birth month and year (pass prices depend on age). Names are optional labels. We don't ask for full birth dates, addresses or phone numbers.

Season planning

Home city and travel distance on the season page stay in your browser; they're never sent to us.

Your plan's key

An access key is stored in a cookie on your device. We keep only a one-way hash of it. Your recovery code is the only way back into a plan from another device, so save it.

Payments

Stripe handles checkout. Stripe collects card and customer details. Signed payment notifications can include customer details; our order records retain the payment identifiers, amount, currency and status needed to provide access and process refunds. SkiAvo does not store card numbers.

Abuse protection

We count requests per hashed IP address to stop abuse. Hashed IP addresses are pseudonymous, not anonymous. Counters are removed during maintenance after their retention window.

Gear links

When you follow a gear link we record the listing and the time, not who you are.

Analytics, no ads

There are no advertising pixels or ad tracking. If you choose "Allow" on the banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are used. It sets cookies (such as _ga), shares usage data with Google, and has IP anonymization on, with advertising and personalization signals off. If you choose "No thanks", analytics cookies stay off. You can change this by clearing this site's data in your browser.

How long we keep things

• Unpaid drafts: 30 days
• Paid plans and reports: 365 days after purchase
• You can delete your plan any time from the plan page.

Service providers

Stripe handles payments and Cloudflare provides hosting and the database. This private preview is also hosted through ChatGPT Sites; the planned direct Cloudflare deployment is described in the handoff.
